Acne Studios
The 1991 jeans are cut to a loose unisex fit with a low to mid-waist, matching thin belt, straight leg and regular length. They're made of rigid denim in a light blue wash. Originally founded in Stockholm in 1996 as a multi-disciplinary design collective, a limited-run denim capsule collection cemented Acne Studios as a fashion industry mainstay. Designer Jonny Johansson combines his penchant for photography, art and architecture to create a contemporary, eclectic yet curated aesthetic that he dubs as “maximalist minimalism”. Almost 30 years later, Acne Studios is still the last word in Scandi-cool.
