FFWD Festival: Introducing Maurice Terzini and Alex Prichard of Icebergs Dining Room and Bar
Restaurateur Maurice Terzini and Head Chef Alex Prichard of Icebergs Dining Room & Bar are just two of the many talented collaborators headlining FFWD – our fashion, food, wine and music festival.
Maurice Terzini is best known for stamping his indelible mark and style on both the Sydney and Melbourne dining experience. His long history in the hospitality industry has seen him establish not only Australia’s most notable dining venues, but also a number of Sydney’s most recognisable events.
From his first of many ventures, Caffe e Cucina on Melbourne’s Chapel Street, to the now iconic Icebergs Dining Room and Bar, Maurice Terzini’s legacy as a restaurateur with a unique vision keeps him at the forefront of the Australian culinary landscape.
After leaving his hometown of Kurrajong at the age of 15, Alex Prichard cut his teeth with some of the best chefs in the world. He was then appointed the youngest head chef in Icebergs history, at the age of 24. Alex’s passion lies in using the best local produce he can find and supporting sustainable food production in Australia.
Maurice and Alex will be offering an edgy fine dining menu canvasing everything from grass-fed O’Connor beef tartare to fairy bread macarons. Short and sharp variations on the Icebergs Bar menu will be available all weekend – think porcini and truffle lasagna, and tiramisu by the scoop.
Join us at FFWD to experience a menu curated by Maurice and Alex to reflect the depth of Italian cuisine, created using the best Australian produce and sustainable seafood. FFWD will run from 1-4 August.
