Today we introduce our first clothing collection.
Inspired by the velveteen, synthy sounds of Paris’s indie electronica scene, our first clothing collection is all about beautifully-cut clothing of proper quality. This is get-up designed for weekend ventures: early espressos, long lunches, post-match pints, gigs, and good times.
Each silhouette in the collection was obsessed over for months before being put into production in Japan and Portugal. Expect a parka that would rile a Gallagher brother, chambray gilets, striped jersey, and perfectly cut t-shirts.
Unisex Striped Long Sleeved T-Shirt
The collection is the work of STILY co-founders Ant White and Caroline Ball – both of whom have had rare access to some of the world’s most mysterious fashion houses over the last ten years. From Marni, Issey Miyake and Acne Studios to Rei Kawakubo’s universe at Comme des Garçons and John Galliano’s Maison Margiela, Caroline and Ant have had their fair share of private access – all of which has informed the spirit and calibre of the collection.
Royal Tan Hooded Jacket
Collaborating with friends on this project was inevitable. For this first capsule, they’ve partnered with highly respected avant-garde tailor Kohei Kawamura - celebrated for his meticulous tailoring and quietly radical approach at Klasica in Tokyo.
Alabaster Cropped Crew Jumper
It’s taken three years and more long-haul flights than anyone cares to remember to reach this point… sourcing jersey of the perfect lushness, recutting and tweaking hems until they were nailed, and fixating on banging finishes – right down to tonal stitch colour.

This apparel project, like much of what happens at Sorry Thanks I Love You, is music-inspired - a kind of visual soundtrack from around the world. It’s the beginning of a new chapter: one fuelled by experience, experimentation, a quiet obsession with doing things properly, and an incurable Saturday night fever. And there is plenty more to come.
