Todd Heim’s Irish linen beach towels practically beg you to pour yourself a rum cocktail and muse about your future while the sun sets. Linen is lightweight, holds about twenty times its weight in water, and, in the manner of Sean Connery, becomes softer and better looking with age. Each towel is sewn by hand in Brooklyn by one of the finest bearded gentlemen in the borough and can double as throw rug, table cloth or flag.
A passion for quilt making that blossomed in rural Iowa has transformed into a small textile design studio in Brooklyn specialising in Irish linen and baking.
