Limited edition card game
Match 25 of the world’s most iconic artists with one of their famous works. Featuring artists such as Margaret Kilgallen, Hokusai, Judy Chicago, Frida Kahlo, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Louise Nevelson, Kara Walker, Annie Liebowitz, Tracey Emin, Patricia Piccinini and Henri Matisse, local Sydney artist Kim Siew has created a game that hones art brains young and old.
How to play: Shuffle the cards and lay them face down. Take it in turns to flip two over, aiming to match an artist with their artwork. If you get a match, keep the pair and have another turn. If not, flip the cards back over again. Play by yourself or with any number of players. Once all the cards are matched, the player with the most pairs wins.
Kim Siew is an artist and illustrator based in Sydney, Australia. She draws pictures on both paper and walls, usually of playful characters moving about their everyday. She also teaches workshops in zine making and bookbinding, with all the beautiful imperfections of the handmade.
