Stromboli

A tiny island off the coast of Sicily, Stromboli is studded with orchards, black sand beaches and olive trees. All oaky thyme, fresh jasmine, cloves, salty patchouli and sharp citrus, this candle is designed to evoke an ascent towards the lava-filled mouth fo the volcano, winding through the blossoming orange and lemon trees in a fresh sea breeze. These candles are designed in collaboration with acclaimed perfumer Francoise Caron, and each scent evokes the unique character of a distinctive international destination.

With a penchant for archaeology and nostalgia, and an unspoken mantra of ‘handmade in Paris’, you’d be forgiven for assuming that French lifestyle brand Astier de Villatte is as old as its collaborators.
