Pluviophile Rain Candle
Haeckels fragrances are made from ingredients never before used in perfumery – in this case, crushed sea shells, sea water and concrete particles fused with Geosmin. The Pluviophile fragrance captures that impossibly more-ish scent of rain on dry earth, also known as ‘petrichor’. Just as impressive is the candle’s specially developed compostable mycelium packaging which is made primarily from the root system of mushrooms that are custom-grown around a moul and combined with sawdust, flax and hemp husks to create a completely natural and wonderfully textural lightweight treasure box. The entire piece comes wrapped in seed paper, which means planting your rubbish in the garden will result in a rush of wildflowers. We kid you not.
