Chefs Knife - 1803

Nose to tail

Chop Chop

Whether it’s chopping the celery or slicing the wedding cake, the craftsmanship in this handsome culinary weapon is evident.   It’s in the strength of its the perfect roughness and balanced weight of its handle.

Forged by expert cutler Karim Haddad just south of Canberra, this sword’s carbon steel blade is so sharp it makes ham bones wince. The handle is made from naturally shed red deer antler, its unique shape and colouring decided by the season’s rainfall on the Hansen’s farm on the slopes of Mt Canabolas, and the fettle of the individual animal.

These tools are months in the making and come in a sleek, carefully sized deer suede wrap.  We’re lucky to even have one.  You’d be even luckier.
