Mykita Siru Sunglasses

with Damir Doma

It requires a strange and very specific mastery to create frames as flexible, strong and lightweight as these. These frames are the result of a special collaboration between Berlin’s Mykita and Croatian-born underground fashion designer Damir Doma, whose cross-cultural, and architectural androgynous garments question the modern wardrobe. “From the very beginning, our aim was to translate the traditional round form into something modern and create an iconic object,” says Damir Doma. Made from stainless steel, these adjustable frames deliberately give the illusion of being made from two layered pieces, yet still cast intriguing shadows on the face. and assembled with 100% UVA/UVB protected glass lenses with an anti-reflective inner coating, these glasses feature Mykita’s patented, hingeless design with no screws or welded joints, making them exceptionally difficult to break and beyond phenomenal to wear.
