2013 Village Chablis - Moreau Naudet



He may be young, but Stéphane Moreau is using the old, pre-industrial growing methods of hand-harvesting, whole berry pressing and natural yeast fermentation on his family’s vineyard to make a pure, fresh wine that turns traditional ideas of the cool, crispy Chablis on its head.  This vigneron has only been discovered outside of Chablis in the last few years – and his anonymity won’t last long.  In Sebastian's words:  "Fresh as a daisy, crisp as iced tea and dangerously drinkable."
