Ferdinand's Saar Dry Gin

Lazy Cocktail

Critics, mixologists and lawn tennis players all agree: there’s nothing else in the world quite like this bewildering gin.  Infused with hand picked late-harvest Riesling grapes from the Saarburger Rausch vineyard on the border of Germany, Luxembourg and France, Ferdinand’s Saar’s gin is crisp, citrusy and bordering on the revelatory. This could be owing to Master Distiller Andreas Vallendar’s family history developing fruit schnapps, or perhaps the inclusion of some 30 local aromatic botanicals in the blend - including, it’s rumoured, lavender and rosehips.  Either way, this gingery, almost-sweet gin is undoubtedly one for the non-conformist and won double gold at this year’s World Spirits Competition in San Francisco.  Boom.
